The Khayelitsha Community Trust was established by the City Of Cape Town in 2003 with the specific goal of advancing Khayelitsha by developing commercial, residential and community facilities, which at the same time generate direct and indirect economic opportunities.

KCT is managed by an independent group of professionals with varied expertise in facilitating developments of this nature and scale. And because the Trust is a municipal entity, the Trustees are selected through a public process, facilitated by the City of Cape Town.

We are all about transparency, accessibility and accountability and it is our goal to improve the quality of life for everyone in the community of Khayelitsha!
