Greetings fellow community members!

The sole mandate of the Khayelitsha Community Trust (KCT) is to deliver on economic empowerment opportunities, which benefit the broader community of Khayelitsha. The national government has declared both Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha as urban renewal nodes, which allows for state resources to go towards improving the livelihoods of these communities.

KCT is therefore one of the key stakeholders who must ensure that both physical and economic change takes place in Khayelitsha. Our main goal is to ensure that by 2020 Khayelitsha is completely transformed from a township to one of Cape Town City’s thriving suburbs.
